It’s an unspoken rule that all millennials have to run a marathon by 30 — so naturally, I decided to take it a step (or 100 miles) further.
To celebrate my 29th birthday, I’ll be running the Viper 100 Miler on Friday, March 13, with a goal of completing all 100 miles within the 41-hour cutoff.
This journey isn’t just about endurance — it’s a living experiment in the characteristic traits of grit I’ve been researching and embodying through my work: Courage, Conscientiousness, Passion, Perseverance, Self-Control, Optimism, and Resilience.
I’m turning this challenge into a birthday fundraiser to help jumpstart the next phase of RESI.fit — building a future mini gym and expanding resources to support more clients through movement and recovery.
Every step, every mile, and every ounce of effort is dedicated to proving that grit isn’t just a trait — it’s a practice.
You can support in a few ways:
Bet on my grit — the less you believe I’ll finish, the higher your pledge should be, of course!
Contribute an item or resource to support the gym or the 100-miler journey.
Help fuel the mission directly and be part of this next chapter.

I will be running the Viper 100 Miler Ultra Marathon to celebrate my 29th birthday. Take the pledge and donate the amount of choice per mile that I complete. All funds used to open my gym.
